Boston (AP) -- Two New Hampshire teens are among three people accused of shooting a man in the foot after breaking into his Haverhill, Massachusetts, house looking for money and cocaine. They've been ordered held without bail.
Police say five suspects wearing ski masks and gloves broke into Gerald Boucher's residence Monday and pistol-whipped him before shooting him in the left foot.
Boucher was treated at a local hospital and released.
Police said three men were caught after a search that included dogs and a helicopter. Two others remain at large.
Twenty-three-year-old Luis Torres of Haverhill, 19-year-old Jason Perry of Danville, N.H., and 18-year-old Steven Listro Jr. of Atkinson, N.H., were arraigned Tuesday on charges including home invasion and armed assault with intent to murder.
They were ordered held pending a dangerousness hearing.
