Springfield, MA (AP) -- A Springfield woman is awarded $6 million after she was permanently injured by a drunken doctor.
Elizabeth Nelligan, 24, broke her foot, after being knocked over by Dr. Mark Radzicki during a social visit to his house in 2005.
In her negligence lawsuit, Nelligan claimed Dr. Radzicki was intoxicated when he stepped on her right foot, and then fell on her.
She now suffers from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), a chronic neurological syndrome with symptoms that include severe burning pain, tissue swelling, and increased sensitivity. |
