Foxboro, MA (AP) -- The New England Patriots sign nose tackle Steve Fifita and waive rookie offensive lineman Josh Coffman and rookie defensive lineman Carlos Feliciano.
The 6-foot, 312-pound Fifita played in 13 games for the Miami Dolphins in 2007 and finished with 11 tackles. He was waived by Miami on April 29. He was signed as a rookie free agent out of Utah by the Dolphins in 2006, but did not play in the NFL that season.
Coffman and Feliciano were both signed by the Patriots as rookie free agents last Friday and participated in last weekend's rookie minicamp.
