Order up those World Series tickets, Baby!

Hello? Is this the Red Sox ticket office? Oh, good, I would like to order my World Series tickets, please.

What do you mean they aren't on sale?

I have to wait for what?

The season? We have to wait for the season? But, didn't you see what the Sox did yesterday in Fort Myers?! They won two games by a combined 39-ZIP! What...? I don't care if they were college kids..........huh?.......look, Eagles, Huskies, Gerbils, Muskrats, it doesn't matter - I want to buy my Series ducats now.

Season, shmeason....it's all a formality! Don't you see!? The Sox are unbeatable. Why, they'll march through the season like the Patriots did and then.....then.....

Then........

Me and my big mouth. I had to mention the 'P' word.

Maybe I'll hold off on those tickets for now. Take things slow. Yeah, that's it.

Enjoy things one game at a time.

My sports psyche still needs time to heal.
