Norfolk (WBZ Newsroom)  -- State and local police in Norfolk are investigating the deaths of two men, likely the victims of a murder-suicide. 

The two men are identified as Edmund Brabant and his son Edmund Brabant Jr.  

Their bodies were discovered in the father's home at around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. 

Authorities say it's likely that the son, who had a reported history of mental illness, killed his father before killing himself.
