Nashua, NH (AP)  -- A Nashua woman accused of murder after driving into several people with her car outside a bar told police she felt scared and threatened by the group.

Prosecutors say 43-year-old Ivonne Hernandez ran over the group May 2, killing 29-year-old Matthew Beaudoin of Nashua.

At a hearing Wednesday, a police officer testified that Hernandez told police the group was taunting her and that one person had hit her. She said the argument escalated when the group saw a New York Yankees bumper sticker on her car and began yelling Yankees' insults.

A judge refused to dismiss the charges and Hernandez will continue to be held without bail.

Prosecutors say the Red Sox-Yankees feud was a small part of what happened, but refused to give details and other court records have been sealed.
