Dragon Slayer 6k Road Race - May 18

The Dragon Slayer 6k Road Race
York Beach, Maine - May 18, 2008
The winner of the 2008 race receives airfare and entry into the 2009 Disney 1/2 marathon!

All proceeds of this race will go to the American Liver Foundation of New England to help fund research for a cure for Hepatitis C. My father has Hepatitis C and it has impacted our family's life greatly in a negative way. In our country there are approximately 4 million people with Hepatitis C and only about 1 million people know about it. The disease is spreading and it needs to be stopped. Please, support the research that will stop HCV.

Last year, together we raised over $5,200 for the American Liver Foundation of New England. We are aiming for $7,000 this year!

Please help spread the word!

Transportation: The York Trolley is a very special tradition for us at this event, and has very graciously, once again offered its magnificent service of free transportation for the race participants from the finish line, (York Beach gazebo) back to the High School.

For all your very best sightseeing and all the local information, park the car when touring York and please share the ride utilizing the York Trolley. You will be very glad you did! http://www.yorktrolley.com/
