Little did Lauren, or anybody for that matter, know that her decision would result in a lot less scoring for the opposition.

Bruins Ink Ward to Multi-Year Deal The Boston Bruins have re-signed veteran defenseman Aaron Ward to a multiyear contract extension.
Ward, 35, had five goals and eight assists in 65 regular-season games for the Bruins last year, as well as one assist in six playoff games.
Bruins Sign Kobasew to Multiyear Deal The Boston Bruins have signed forward Chuck Kobasew to a multiyear contract extension after his highest scoring season in his five years in the NHL.
Kobasew had career highs of 22 goals, 17 assists and 39 points in 73 games last season. He finished second on the team in goals to Marco Sturm, who had 27.
