Invasive Parenting


Boston -- Are you an invasive parent...do you try to control your kids' lives too much?

Do you do your child's homework...sell their Girl Scout cookies, or fill out their college applications? Author Hara Estroff Marano says you're an invasive parent...

Marano has written a book called "A Nation of Wimps: The High Cost of Invasive Parenting." She says many parents take too much control over their kids...She says this over protectiveness can cause big problems later on...The kids aren't able to handle life on their own...

Marano says parents need to give their kids more independence...
