The Breast Cancer 3-Day will be held on August 15-17, 2008. Thousands of women and men will unite and walk 60 miles through the Boston community. It is a weekend of hope, as we honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote breast cancer research and help bring breast cancer care to those who so desperately need it. Net proceeds from the Breast Cancer 3-Day benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure to fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs. A portion of the proceeds is also given to the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund, to provide an endowment for breast cancer initiatives.
Join us for a day of fun while raising money to end the fight against breast cancer. Enter the tournament as an individual or form a team. For those who do not play golf- enjoy a day of relaxation while watching the tournament and attending the luncheon and awards ceremony for only $25. Prizes and awards will be presented and raffles and silent auction items will also be available.
Tees and holes may be purchased for $100 in memory or honor of a loved one.
Monetary or material donations are welcome for silent auction and raffles.
Registration and donation forms for the tournament can be obtained by contacting the committee at chippinginforacure@yahoo.com or at 617-447-0278.
